Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a multi-function pole system intended to bring connectivity, security and site services into public spaces without a cluster of separate fixtures. The relaunch is presented as a response to rising customer expectations and to pressure on space in public areas, where single-purpose pole sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity equipment are increasingly common.

SHUFFLE stacks Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities into one vertical pole that is designed to be easy to activate and install. Its modular components allow customization and future adaptability, while the integrated design seeks to combine modern aesthetics with efficiency in busy, multi-use environments.

New configuration options

Landscape Forms has simplified configuration with a new build feature on its website. Clients can specify preferred camera and technology brands and choose among options within each category, according to the company. The relaunch also adds plug-and-play modules: a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules.

Flexible deployments

The modular design can be configured for specialized environments and general public spaces, the company said. SHUFFLE is positioned for locations including university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals. In those settings, the system is presented as a way to add security and convenience where people gather to work, travel, study and recreate.

The relaunch arrives as public spaces are adding more connected equipment, often through separate sensors, cameras, lighting and communications hardware. Landscape Forms says that a single, adaptable pole can expand site functionality while limiting visual clutter and added cost. The company said the modular approach is meant to let a site’s capabilities change over time.

Company perspectives

Shannon Lee, Business Development Manager for Smart Poles at Schréder, said SHUFFLE was designed to meet the needs of busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as site requirements change. In a statement, Lee described it as the kind of solution site designers had been awaiting, adding that the product and feature sets are best-in-class. She said safety and connectivity are integrated without dominating the space, helping make the system accessible and user friendly.

Jordan Agustin, President of Lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE represents technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. He said the new features enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company’s mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
