Use Rugby's core values as the basis of a school sport code of conduct for students, parents and teachers. This will enhance the standards of behaviour of players, spectators and team managers.
Stage one
Involve the school sport organising committee in developing a code of conduct to be used during intra-school competition.
Stage two
Students who represent the school in inter-school sport discuss the code of conduct and, in conjunction with staff, make additions and amendments where necessary.
Stage three
The school promotes Rugby's core values and/or the code of conduct within the local school sport partnership or district sports association.
In addition, Young Ambassadors across the district promote the values/ code of conduct through in-school opportunities such as assemblies and at cross-partnership events.
The code of conduct could support level 1, 2 and 3 School Games events.
